I believe we owe our freedom to the heroes of past generations who fought with their lives for it. It is essential to fight now for future generations so the world that they inherit from us will be freer and fairer. That is why we must defend the heroes of our own generation, who fight for our right to know when power is abused. People like Assange, Manning or Snowden will be the inspiration of the future and those who did not support them will be looked at in future times as we look back now at those in history who stood with the many on the side of injustice and abuse.
